NOTES FROM THE SEEDMAKER

Mom: Platinum GSC is a clone only strain. It’s very stretchy so it matches up nicely with the genes of Blue Heron, allowing dominant Blue Magoo traits to appear in over 75% of the genepool. The mom compliments the terpene profile of the Blue Magoo very well.

Dad: The Blue Heron male (Blue Magoo x Blue Magoo/Huckleberry2011) was selected over the course of two years and 120+ plants. After thinning the selection down to two males, the #111 male has proven to be the keeper we were seeking. Recessive traits of the Blue Magoo are expressed all throughout the offspring.

• Pheno #1: OGKB/Cookie pheno forms large colas with giant bracts/calyxes and smells of dough, berry, anise and floral petrol.
• Pheno #2: Huckleberry/Magoo leaner with a slightly more blunt top than the others and smells of berry muffins, lavender and a hint of cookie dough.
• Pheno #3: Blue Magoo dominant with a slightly more intense smell and fades to a magenta hue around the bracts’ edges, which makes it pleasantly appealing to the eyes.
• Pheno #4: Blue Magoo dominant in all forms, except one variation of this pheno forms colas and the other has a similar bud formation to the Blue Magoo.

Twenty to twenty-five percent of the plants have an OGKB-ish leaf/bud formation and the rest of the genepool is Blue Magoo dominant (with one pheno exhibiting slight huckleberry traits).
