And yet, this is still not what truly draws me to speakeasy. It’s the vip program and discord. The group of people in the discord are amazing. I’ve made some great friends in this group and everyone in here is knowledgeable, respectful, and genuinely friendly.

I can ask questions, share knowledge and learn about anything from food, to music, to extracts.

I can ask questions and have direct conversations with some of the breeders who work with the speakeasy. 

I can jump in whenever I need to talk to a friend, to ask for help or to offer it.

I’ve been in forums, discords, IG and everything in between over the last decade. I can honestly say I’ve never met a better group of people in one spot.

The biggest difference between speakeasy and other seed banks is transparency. It’s been nice to find out why some of these packs are so hard to find…20-30 per a bank and one time drops. The discord has also been a wealth of information that would take weeks scouring forums to find.

There are a few things that set speakeasy apart from the rest of the competition. First, I have noticed this on more than one competitor website that none of them seem to remove sold out items from their website. Speakeasy offers a confusion-free shopping experience, and you always know exactly what is in stock because they remove the item from the site when it’s sold out.  Another thing that sets speakeasy apart is the low number of, but high quality and very talented, breeders they offer seeds from. Most of the competitors out there have an ungodly amount of “breeders” to sort through, many of which are unknown, and that just adds to the confusing shopping experience I spoke of above. Finally the last thing that I feel sets speakeasy apart is the fact that they don’t play into the garbage hyped up  pollen chucking Instagram growers, I will not call them breeders because they’re not. The breeders you find on speakeasy earned their clout through hard works, not because they’re friends with someone famous.

For me, Speakeasy sets itself apart by having great breeders across the board and the VIP club that caters to the most dedicated of growers.  You would be hard pressed to find a bunk seed pack from Speakeasy, it is obvious they care about the quality of the products they stock.
