Granddaddy Purple

Granddaddy Purple is relatively new to the scene but already has a great reputation. This one depends on colder temperatures to turn purple.

Ever since Purple Urkel became all the rage on the West Coast connoisseur herb scene, demand for purple product has been overwhelming and insatiable. The Urkel is tricky to grow, isn’t a large yielder, and isn’t particularly early. The need arose for a fatter and quicker version of Urkel. By crossing it with a Big Bud male from Sensi Seeds stock, growers have basically achieved this goal with Grandaddy Purple.

GDP is a great strain, and I certainly see why so many people like it–I would happily puff on some GDP any day! The flavor is sweet and perfumy, with a pungent bottom end.
