OG Kush
This legendary SoCal strain consistently fetches more than anything else on the market. In fact, I’ve heard of single clones going for an astounding $20,000. Why? Because the flavor of OG Kush is absolutely brilliant. It’s that earthy sour, pine-cleaner, electrified-lemon, petrol flavor that has turned many SoCal folks into an OG Kush fanatic.
As for the lineage, OG Kush is a sister to Sour Diesel, and both are descendants of the legendary Chem/Dawg-Diesel line. I don’t know why they call this plant a Kush–she’s mostly a sativa. I don’t think there’s much Kush genetics in there, but the name has stuck.
OG Kush is a tricky plant to grow, producing small but rock-hard nugs. She takes at least eight weeks of flowering, preferably ten if you can wait, and the harvest is modestly sized at best which explain the high price it fetches.
