Yeah, that was definitely a full on, initial allocation run feeding frenzy. Although I think it would have been ever crazier if more people had access to the Rootbeer. I’ve tried a few Rootbeer strains, but most people on the East Coast haven’t gotten the chance yet.
So I don’t think that a lot of people out there realize just how phenomenal Mene Gean’s Rootbeer really is. A lot of headz out west have either tried it, or had a fairly steady supply of the Rootbeer & some of the first, truly well bred hybrids.
Alien Genetics spent over two years from their early 2020 Peach NL pheno line release, without releasing anything at all, primarily to work on their Rootbeer Bx2 F2 to be the genetic & thematic cornerstone of two entire lines, & spent even longer, carefully cultivating a large & highly variable population of Rez ECSD v3, & Sour Diesel IBL selections for four filial generations before crossing in the Legend OG, to make the OG Sour F4 line.
Anyway the Rootbeer Freeze & Alien Genetics’ Rootbeer Bx2 F2 lines should be ridiculously incredible.
The OG Sour F4 line too. I spent 3 years making my Omega Pineapple. Great, original polyhybrids take a significant amount of time to develop, breed, & make all the necessary parental selections one must make in between different stages of breeding multiple strains into the same hybrid.
