NOTES FROM THE SEEDMAKER
Pineapple Fields is the bestselling, multiple award-winning, crown jewel of Dynasty Genetics.
The Mom is Kali Snapple–an elite clone that consists of Snow/Pineapple x KaliMist (pre 2000!). By far the smelliest plant I’ve ever had in my garden, this trait passes down through the Pineapple Fields gene pool, so be ready for extra Carbon filters.
The Dad is Ms. Universe–it carries a DessTar (Starship x KaliMist) dominance which brings the disco balls aka resin glands to the party, along with an extra coat of frosting and the pure essence of fruit, caramel and spices.
You’ll encounter four main phenotypes in the Pineapple Fields genepool:
- Phenotype A: The ’50/50′ pheno. Exhibits traits from both parents…nearly a perfect plant. 9-10 week bloom, chunky buds, good returns, PM resistant, purple hues and an amazingly dank pineapple candy smell.
- Phenotype B: The ‘Pineapple Roadkill’ pheno. Kali Snapple dominant pheno that is the smelliest of the bunch. Incredible, game-changing terpenes.
- Phenotype C: The ‘Ms. Universe’ pheno. Takes the longest to bloom (10 – 11 weeks) but the pineapple/haze smells and flavors are worth the wait.
- Phenotype D: The ‘Quick Finishing’ pheno. Blooms the fastest at only 58 – 65 days. Recessive pineapple genes make you salivate at first whiff–fresh pineapple juice is the dominant smell.
YIELD DISCLAIMER
The yield of any crop, including hemp, can vary depending on factors such as the variety of the plant, growing conditions, farming practices, and weather conditions.

I didn’t get this from here, but it’s one of my favorite strains if not my favorite as of now. I recommend anything from Dynasty, I did order Durban Poison x Ms. Universe#10 from here which I have never seen anywhere but here, and they only had like 10 or 20 packs. Awesome seedbank, awesome breeder!

Man I missed the Durban Poison cross. It sounds excellent. Too bad. How’d she turn out?

Finally scored one of those Durban Poison x Ms. Universe #10 packs from Speakeasy last year and they are phenomenal seeds indeed!

Such a joy to grow, had several phenotypes that are all keepers. High terpene with an old and new flavors. Definitely on my top list.

The title says it all. Every plant is a keeper, and the males are almost always resinous stink machines. Dynasty’s & Professor P’s best work. Hands Down.

I’ve found several females that are all keepers for different reasons and am having a tough time deciding which to breed with. I’ll probably try a few different projects with the very best of them, and if I can find a really special Ms. Universe F2, I’ll work on a Bx project, although I wish I had Kali Snapple to Bx her with instead but you gotta work with what you’ve got in life.
Pheno hunting 3 packs and I’ve found two males that began flowering in Veg. Obviously they were purged immediately, but still, it sucks when the gene pool has males that start to flower early – and even if it’s because of stress – typically lack of sufficient root space, especially for sativa dominant males. Well, as long as those males aren’t used for breeding purposes things should be ok. My original MAC seeds had two males that also began to flower in Veg. due to extremely limited root space in their cases – but these males had 2 gallons and still pulled early flowering. They had been vegging for awhile though. While I’m plagued by space issues, I’m still doing my best to make it work. I just need more patience than the average bear. But patience I’ve got. It’s not like I can do anything else right now anyway so it’s all good. My goals are to breed the best craft quality, limited edition genetics. I know some of my projects will take years but that’s ok. I’ve got years to work on them. Financial gain isn’t my motivation although recognition will be nice. Which is why I’m biding my time, trying different things, and flexing my patience gradually working towards genetics that will achieve such recognition. I’m not going to release anything just because I can. Only that 🔥 that’s worthy of being released into the wild will ever see the light of day.

Just a quick update to follow up on the above. One of my females (Pineapple Fields #17) was the extremely rare, recessive, pineapple juice pheno. I cloned her a few times and eventually used her to breed with my Omega Pineapple ((Ed Rosenthal Super Bud Bx2 x Highland Pineapple Thai x C99 (Pineapple Pheno)) x (1998 Kali Mist F3 x Cannabiogen Destroyer [(Oaxacan x Colombian Gold) x Meao Thai)]), a phenomenal plant that has received an incredible amount of praise from people in my circle and their circles. The only problem was that since she’s such a polyhybrid, my attempts to breed her with other plants (Compound cut of Apples & Bananas, Gelonade clone, Cheetah Piss, Umami cut of Zuchi, Putang MMSCUT, Grandiflora cut of Ya Hemi, Doja Pak clone or RS-11, Tiki Madman clones of his White Runtz Bx & Purple Peach Ringz, & my incredible hunted phenos of MMS Boston Cream Pie, LIT Watermelon Mimosa, In House Diabolical Grape Marmalade, & my truly exceptional phenotype of Alien Apple Jaxx (FPOG liqueur cut) all produced extremely varied, even random, results.
Many plants were beyond top shelf quality, and were perfect combinations of their parents, but there were just too many seeds that produced mediocre or extremely random results (as if I had crossed the target plant with only one of the plants that makeup Omega Pineapple’s genetics, several seemed like they were crossed with my Kali Mist F3, Destroyer, or the landrace Highland Thai I used).
The last thing I want to do is only be able to release Omega Pineapple S1s, especially since I was hoping to release boxed sets of Omega Pineapple crosses and the S1s only in a limited edition. So I made a batch of Omega Pineapple v2 feminized seeds with the Pineapple Fields #17 in the hopes that it would help unify the genetics and make it easier to produce more consistent offspring.
I was fortunate that the Omega Pineapple v2 seeds were fairly consistent and didn’t change much from the original Omega Pineapple. It’s terpene profile was slightly sweeter, but otherwise I found mostly very similar plants the my selected Omega Pineapple cut in the v2 seeds. Whether that’s because the pineapple juice pheno of Pineapple Fields is recessive, I’m not entirely sure of, but, the Omega Pineapple v2 x Gelonade & Omega Pineapple v2 x Super Boof, the only crosses I’ve made so far (unfortunately a lot of the clones I used initially were lost to an infestation of hemp aphids – they’re evil incarnate – brown / translucent and virtually impossible to get rid of. If you get them in your garden immediately save clones of your best plants and slash and burn and start from scratch. I tried fighting them for 6 months, only for them to repopulate after 2 weeks to a month – every time – only to eventually lose so many of my best clones and long held cuts).
But the good news is that I found the perfect way to use my rarest Pineapple Fields cut in what so far appears to have worked as intended to help stabilize my Omega Pineapple for breeding purposes. Time will tell whether or not it was enough, or whether she needs more work to be a consistent breeder. Unfortunately my stable has been mostly ravaged and lost yet again (not as bad as in 2018, but pretty bad), pushing my launch schedule back yet again. So now it’s time to break out the big guns. All the rarest and most valuable seeds I’ve been saving in the vault (my seed fridge) for just the right moment. Apparently, that moment is this most recent loss of most of my stable. I’m breaking out my most beloved and sought after, valuable, and long out of print / gifted landrace and heirloom seeds so I don’t need to take another several years to build up a collection of crosses and incredible hunted phenos / expensive clones, before I’m ready to launch again. Hopefully this latest setback only takes a year or two to overcome. My seedbank connections keep telling me I should just make F1s of the most popular cultivars and release those, but I’ve been extremely patient so far, and intentionally avoided taking that easy road. I do have several long sold out older packs of seeds and rare crosses / landraces & heirloom seeds that I could at least get my start with by releasing preservation S1s and F2s. Which I may very well decide to do. I always intended to make half of my mission one of genetic preservation anyway.
Pleasant hunting & growing my fellow growers, breeders, & those fortunate enough to have discovered Speakeasy Seedbank. This is one of the best banks out there. Their collection is extremely well curated and Blind Tiger and crew really know what they’re doing.
